Warm Tips for Using Kids Snorkel Set

How to prevent mask from fogging up

    1. Avoid touching the inside of your mask, especially right after you use a defogger. Touching your mask may leave fingerprints on it, making the defogger less effective and dirtying your mask.
    2. Don't breathe out of your nose. It may take some time to adjust to solely breathing in and out through your mouth, but exhaling through your nose is the main cause of mask fog.
    3. Cleaning the mask with non-whitening toothpaste or defogger is a great way to reduce fog, especially for brand new masks. You can use either a soft-bristled toothbrush or your fingers. If you use your fingers, it's important to wash them so that the oils from your hands don't prevent you from cleaning the mask completely. Spread tooth paste on the lenses inside your mask and rub it in to cover the lenses completely. After that, wash your mask out while trying not to touch the mask glass too much.

How to prevent the mask from leaking

    1. Buy the correct size mask.
    2. Check if mask fits kids face before using it in the water.
    3. Avoid masks that don't have a silicone skirt.
    4. Make sure all your hair is clear from around your face where the mask will seal.
    5. Keep mouth and facial muscles relaxed, and head movements small and slow.
