FAQ

1.How to assemble snorkel set?

2.How to pretreat snorkel mask?

Take a thimble-sized amount of toothpaste and rub it on both sides of the dry lenses. Give it a good circular rubbing with your CLEAN fingers.Rinse the lens while rubbing away the toothpaste. Once the toothpaste is rinsed away, DRY the lens with a clean towel or rag.

3.Will the mask leak?

Please rest assured.Any mask of our store has been tested.  As long as you wear the mask correctly and make it fits properly,it won't leak. Make sure there aren’t any loose strands of hair or facial hair under the mask skirt since this can prevent a tight seal from forming and cause leakage.

4.How can i prevent fogging?

You Mask will also need to be washed regularly to remove dust, dirt, salt and oils from your skin. Once your mask is clean you can treat it with a de-fogging agent so that it doesn’t fog up.Another option is using a mild baby shampoo or basic toothpaste, simply apply a few drops, rub it around and quickly rinse it out. Be sure to use baby shampoo and not regular shampoo. Baby shampoo is typically less irritation on your eyes, hypoallergenic and biodegradable which is good for the environment.

A Comparative Review of 5 Masks

In preparation for an upcoming snorkeling trip to Mexico, my husband and I went to our local pool & tested 5 masks available on Amazon. All worked great and any one of them would meet our needs. All of them were packaged very nicely, with protective wrap around the mask itself. All came with an attachable camera mount, earplugs, and storage bag. None of them had issues with fog. The differences among them are small and come down to personal preference. Below are my results...NOTE: Both our faces measured 4.75"(ish) from the bridge of our noses to our chins, so we were right on the line between the S/M and L/XL size options...1) ORSEN Newest Version Full Face Snorkel Mask Foldable 180 Panoramic View Free Breathing Snorkeling Mask with Detachable Camera Mount,Anti-Fog Anti-Leak for Adults & Kids:COLOR: Black blueSIZE: S/M**** This is our top pick! ****Pros: - Most notably, we thought this one was the easiest to breathe with - Easy assembly: Breathing tube flipped up in place & folds down for travel/storage - Good seal around face - Elastic strips don't slip or loosen while wearing - Most comfortable to wear, sitting "lighter" on your face, especially the eyebrow area - Simple & easy camera mount, just one piece snaps right in placeCons: - No quick-release buttons for the straps to remove mask2) aidong Full Face Snorkel Mask,180 Panoramic Anti Fog Anti Leak Foldable Snorkel Mask,Advanced Breathing System Allows You to Breathe More Fresh Air While Snorkeling,Suitable for Adults&KidsCOLOR: Style B - Black/BlueSIZE: L-XLPros: - Quick-release buttons for the straps to remove maskCons: - Slightly more laborious to assemble, having to line up arrows and twist breathing tube (as opposed to lift & snap) - Mask straps loosened too easily, even just adjusting the position of the mask on your face - Felt like more pressure on the eyebrow area as opposed to the other masks - Seemed harder to breathe in this vs. the mask #1 - More complicated camera mount with 2 pieces3) OUSPT Full Face Snorkel Mask, Snorkeling Mask with Detachable Camera Mount, Panoramic 180° View Upgraded Dive Mask with Safety Breathing System, Dry Top Set Anti-Fog Anti-LeakCOLOR: Black PurpleSIZE: L-XLIn many ways, this mask is identical to #2. They even came with identical instruction books...Pros: - Quick-release buttons for the straps to remove mask - The parts of the mask that mold to your face (nose area) were more firm than all the other masks (more durable?)Cons: - Slightly more laborious to assemble, having to line up arrows and twist breathing tube (as opposed to lift & snap) - The parts of the mask that mold to your face (nose area) were more firm than all the other masks (less comfortable) - The insides seemed to sit very high on the nose. I could feel my eyelashes hitting the mask's "innards". Perhaps this section is bigger than the others? - Felt like more pressure on the sinus area, making it less comfortable than #1 - More complicated camera mount with 2 pieces---------------------NOTE: The bottom section pertains to *THIS* mask brand, just different sizes/colors:---------------------4) Greatever Snorkel Mask Foldable Panoramic View Full Face Snorkeling Mask with Detachable Camera Mount, Dry Top Set Anti-Fog&Anti-Leak:COLOR: BlackSIZE: LargeThis mask was my 2nd choice. It simply didn't fit my face as well as #1.Pros: - Easy assembly: Breathing tube flipped up in place & folds down for travel/storage - More comfortable than #2 or #3, not quite as comfortable as #1. - Simple camera mount, just one piece snaps in place, however, you must remove the mask and snap the breathing tube open to assemble. Not as easy to attach as mask #1.Cons: - This was the only masked that leaked for me (and it BARELY leaked for only 2 seconds). Perhaps this was slightly too big for my face? - No quick-release buttons for the straps to remove mask5) Greatever Snorkel Mask Foldable Panoramic View Full Face Snorkeling Mask with Detachable Camera Mount, Dry Top Set Anti-Fog&Anti-Leak: and the pictures, #5 is this mask in color blue size Small.COLOR: Dark blueSIZE: SmallPros: - Easy assembly: Breathing tube flipped up in place & folds down for travel/storage - Of all we tested, I thought this was the prettiest in color - Simple camera mount, just one piece snaps in place, however, you must remove the mask and snap the breathing tube open to assemble. Not as easy to snap as mask #1.Cons: - The face of this mask probably fit me the best, but the top (see pic) was poking me in the head - VERY uncomfortable. - No quick-release buttons for the straps to remove mask

Holy suction!

I'm a first time snorkeler. I've gone before with an eye mask but this is my first time using a full face mask which I prefer because my nose is also covered.I love the thick padding around the edges that hug my face. I put it in water and nothing is getting through that mask which I was initially worried about being my first time using one. You just need to make sure you size it right for the best fit. I got a s/m and mine is very snug. You can change the strap tightness easily for a better fit which I like. I'm surprised it didn't come in a box though. Just in a mesh bag. But it didn't affect the product and I'm excited to use it on our trip.

Excellent mask for snorkeling!!!

I am a regular snorkeler, definitely one of my favorite things to do when I go to the islands. I found myself getting frustrated with breathing through the regular snorkel, so I thought I would give this a try after I saw people using them on my last trip. I must say, it was amazing! I could easily breathe while swimming around looking at the fish. I also noticed much less fogging up, actually none. Another thing that I liked was the ease of adjusting the straps. Mask dries out nicely, and even comes with a bag. I attach it to the outside of my pack with my water bottle so I can have more room in the pack. Super happy with this purchase, highly recommend!!!!!

Fun easy to use. Relatively low price. I'll buy more.

Good quality mask. I have a beard so it leaks a bit. But my daughter loves it. (No beard =)I love it too. Doesn't fog up nearly as bad as my traditional Snorkel. The Snorkel is high up enough and has a ball valve to stop water from coming it. Good visibility. Great gift for everyone that likes to swim. In the pool or the lake/ ocean. Snorkel folds down to make it nice for storage. And the seal there isn't compromised by the moving parts. I hear people say it makes it harder to breath then regular snorkels. But I didn't notice. But I also just cruse when I use it. I'm not work out swimming. Just slowly exploring. Mid range price. Mid range mask. Worth the buy I'd say.

Fantastic snorkel mask for the price!

Bought 4 of these full face masks for a last minute family snorkel trip in Key Largo - 2 L/XL, 2 S/M. Shipped to hotel via prime. Arrive with perfect timing...thank you Amazon and USPS!We tested them out in the pool the night before - I definitely recommend doing this as it’s better to get them set to your liking the day before and to get use to how they feel - it’s a little different from a regular mask and snorkel. On the day they worked really great. A little fogging, but nothing really to complain about. My wife suffers from claustrophobia however the fact she could breathe easily through either her nose OR mouth really helped (I felt breathing effort was better than just a snorkel - I’m asthmatic and food it great) . Also the separate compartments for breathing and viewing really keep the fogging to a minimum or none at all.You can dive down for a closer look however it is a little more difficult due to the size of the mask and the air it contains. That said none of my family really saw this as an issue - and the valve in the snorkel part works really well. My son (17) did switch to a regular mask and snorkel mid way through as he wanted to free dive a little and the mask was hindering him a little - we were snorkeling the Jesus Statue - which is amazing BTW!Anyway in summary these are really great and the price is perfect - they sealed water tight for the most part - no worse than a regular mask (no water in the mouth/ nose compartment in any of the 4 I bought) - i’m also a scuba diver and these are on par with my +$120 mask for leak proofing. Visibility is fabulous - just wish I had my Go-Pro to mount to the mask (Go-Pro connections come with the mask). If you’re a snorkeler then these are great. Oh and they come with a mesh bag which is not listed in the description!
